SoCalGas has built a state of the art, hydrogen microgrid called the [H2] Innovation Experience. The project demonstrates how hydrogen can tie into our existing energy infrastructure from generating hydrogen from solar, converting hydrogen to power and blending hydrogen with natural gas for use within natural gas appliances. This presentation will give a background to the project along with provide design considerations and testing that needed to be done for this type of project.
