Chris is a Business Development Segment Manager in the Renewable Energy group at NW Natural and supports hydrogen and other decarbonization initiatives for the utility and its customers. Chris works with technology and service providers, other natural gas and electric utilities, and engages in policy work to bring hydrogen projects to life. Renewable natural gas, hydrogen and its derivative fuels are part of NW Natural’s vision to decarbonizing its energy supply.
Previous to NW Natural, Chris worked in market transformation with the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA), and in manufacturing in the automotive and transportation industries.
Chris has a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manitoba, and an MBA from the University of British Columbia. He also has extensive experience in automotive and refrigeration industry product design, manufacturing, and marketing.
