Dr. Jens Hoffmann finished school in 1998. After one year at the German Army he started to study physics. In 2005 Hoffmann finished the physics study in 2005 with the diploma grade. Between 2005 and 2009 he obtained his PHD at the Max-Planck-Institut for nuclear research in Heidelberg. Dr. Jens finished the PHD in January 2009. After a few months as a postdoc, he started in Karlsruhe at the DVGW research laboratory as a project engineer for type testing, especially for products according to the pressure equipment directive. In 2018 Jens took over the position as head of the test house.
