Jordan MacNeil

Jordan MacNeil is the Director of Energy Transition at Eastward Energy, where he has led innovative low-carbon gas initiatives for the past 8 years. His expertise spans renewable natural gas, hydrogen production and blending, and decarbonization of the built environment in Nova Scotia. Jordan helped establish the Atlantic Hydrogen Alliance, a collaborative platform that now drives regional hydrogen policy, investment, and innovation. He also played a leading role in securing funding and academic partnerships to launch the Hydrogen Applications Research Lab at Dalhousie University—Canada’s first dedicated facility for testing hydrogen blending in natural gas infrastructure. Through his work with governments, utilities, and industry, Jordan remains deeply committed to advancing scalable, practical climate solutions—including hybrid heating, hydrogen, and RNG—that accelerate the energy transition in Atlantic Canada.
